We’re All Human

After all this ...  despite my long standing rift with the system ... I’ve discovered that people - real people with quirks and perks … are the stuff of the system.  And imagine this -  both inside and out ... we’re human beings, if you give us a chance to prove it.  We can only wish the system gave more people the opportunity to prove that they’re human.

In general I like human beings, and most of my passengers have tended to be humans.  It’s the other people that scare me.  Either way, I’m good at concealing what I really think and coping with the situation - as if everything is okay - which it often isn't.  As a driver,  I’m equally comfortable interacting with CEOs, and techies as I am hanging out with waiters construction workers - like my buddies at the Liga Latina soccer games on Sunday afternoons.

Perhaps the greatest benefit to my time functioning in these diverse environments has been the development of personal trait - I’ve learned to be acutely attuned to the unspoken messages and human elements in all settings.

Everything in this book … like life ... starts with simple greeting … How’s it going? … and then it takes off on a journey into the imagination.
