What a Mess?

 

Okay ... I'm chiefly responsible for this mess.  And a big mess it is!  How am I supposed to organize over 1000 pages of notes from Uber and Lyft passenger rides ranging from the ridiculously sublime to the sublimely ridiculous?  Is it even possible to pull it all together into one reasonably coherent body of work?   My greatest fear is that what comes out is just another diversion competing for attention in the short attention span circus we call the social media?  I’m striving for something more, but that just may be a pipe dream.  

 

I’m trying to create something intelligent, something human and something genuine, but keep getting pulled in other directions.  How do I attract an audience while avoiding click bait?  How can I reveal  intimacy without straying into voyeurism?  How can I tell people that what I’ve got here is really really good stuff, without becoming a self promotional asshole?  How am I supposed to figure out all the ins and outs of Website building, podcast hosting, social media posting while making sure that what I’m creating stays the course towards authenticity?  God, if you exist and happen to be eavesdropping ... please help me create something better than most of what already infests the social media.
